How can Whatsapp Payment Feature be Used in India?
The payment interface will be supported by well known banks in India namely SBI, PNB, Axis, HDFC etc. The same strategy was opted by We chat in 2016, which is the rival app of a tech giant. The interface will use UPI from the bank account and a user can send or receive payment without leaving the chat window. The expectation is that a Rupee symbol will be added to the buttons that are used for location, recorder etc.

The condition mandatory is that both the sender and the receiver should have UPI enabled in their accounts. Furthermore, they will have to accept the terms and conditions offered by the banks and verify their mobile number via SMS to activate the UPI.

- The feature will activated when WhatsApp payment request has been made by Whatsapp Payment enabled user.
How to Make Payment Using Whatsapp Pay?
To see whether the option of Payment is available or not Go to the settings and look for the new feature. If it is available then read the document to add accounts. And if not, do wait with us and bookmark the page for future use.
For making payments you need to add Bank Accounts for that you can go to Settings>Click Payments >Add New Account under the Category of Bank Accounts ( usually provided in Sub-Heading). Read the T&C and Press on Accept and Continue.
After adding the Bank Details you will then be asked to verify the Phone Numbers and you can do that via Calls or Messages.
Then after the completion select the bank account and enter important details. After the success notification, you will be able to send money to any person who is also verified for Payment Feature.
