Stop WhatsApp Saving Images and video automatically on Android
Step 1:- Open Whatsapp and make sure you are on main window of whatsapp (when your all chats are displayed). > Tap on the three vertical dots on right top then open Setting
Step 2:- after tap on setting, you are in the setting menu. Open Dtat Usage and then see the Media Auto-Download option
Step 3:- In Media Auto-Download option you will be see three further option (When using mobile data, when connect on WI-FI, When roaming) to let you decide if you want to download media when you are just using mobile data, connected to a Wi-FI network or when roaming. Here you can deactivate automatically download media files on Whatsapp. You need to open and deselect the image, Audio and video check box from each option (When using mobile data, when connect on WI-FI, When roaming)
