When it’s all said and done there’s no doubt that Donald Trump will be viewed as one of the most openly corrupt and unlawful Presidents in U.S. history. Trump remains under the impression that he can ignore all the rules and do whatever he wants whenever he wants. Though special prosector Robert Mueller is likely to prove Trump wrong in the coming months, the spectacle of a President acting unlawfully, lying and firing anyone who disagrees has been jolting.
On Friday, March 16, Attorney General Jeff Sessions fired FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe. The firing was less than two days before McCabe’s 50th birthday and the date he was set to retire from the FBI.
The accusation that the Trump White House placed over McCabe’s firing is that he directed FBI officials to speak to the press and somehow mishandles the Clinton Foundation investigation. Today, it was reported that McCabe documented the actions of Trump as related to former FBI Director James Comey.
What Trump has never realized is that the truth always comes out eventually.
