McConnell Forced To Delay Trumpcare Vote, Bill Takes Healthcare from 22 Million

McConnell Forced To Delay Trumpcare Vote on Bill that Takes Healhcare from 22 Million. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) announced that it’s “complicated” and the WHite House announced they are still committed and “optimistic” about repealing “Obamacare.”  Of course none of this has anything to do with health care policy. It has everything to do with giving a tax cut to wealthy GOP donors.

Of course they are. But the bottom line remains the same: The Republican party is working hard to remove health care from teh lives of 22 million in the United States by the year 2026. Go ahead: Try and find someone who will speak positively about either the House and Senate “health care” legislation. Why this “22 million off health care” stat is a figure Republicans are just dying to campaign on for the 2018 cycle is anyone’s guess.

Note to Mitch McConnell: The secret is out. The Congressional Budget Office revealed that 22 million people will have their health care coverage taken away because of this legislation. Everyone knows.  The McConnell plan of “quietly” passing a bill that impacts that many people is now gone. By the time we reach middle July the job will be even tougher.  But if there is one thing that can be counted on it’s Republicans working hard to give big tax breaks to wealthy donors.
