5 Things to Expect From Donald Trump in the White House

The presidency of Donald Trump is likely to feature five particular traits:

1 A fight against accountability. Donald Trump will fight against being held accountable by anyone: the press, the Secret Service, the Department of Justice or any other entity or agency that might hold the Chief Executive accountable.

2 Members of Congress in control of policy details. Trump has no clue how the federal system really works. What that means is that the details will be handled by members of Congress while Trump

3 Lying. Donald Trump has already revealed himself to be a casual and frequent liar on a number or topics. There’s no reason to believe that pattern will change when he enters the White House.

4 A New York-centric presidency. President Trump will try and spend as little time in Washington, D.C. as possible. During the primary season Trump rarely overnighted in the city he was campaigning in, instead choosing to fly to Florida or New York.

5 Corruption. With a team of individuals from the private sector entering the White House led by a novice on federal ethics, Trump’s Administration likely has a shot at being one of the most corrupt in memory.
