Is Hillary Clinton the jinxed candidate? She’s far more experienced yet she’s not that far ahead of Donald Trump in the polls. She just happened to run for President in a year when a once-in-a-generation phenom appears on the scene to become the first Black President of the United States. Bad timing there. Now it’s official: We have a health fiasco.
Donald Trump has made repeated comments about Hillary Clinton not having “the strength and stamina” to be President. Trump’s campaign surrogates, have repeated over and over that there was some mysterious unnamed and unproven problem with Clinton’s health. Of course they’ve done this against the backdrop of Trump releasing nothing on his health — other than a sham letter written in haste by a goofy doctor.
This morning Trump revealed he had a physical last week and he’ll release the results “soon.” He also said health is now an issue in the 2016 campaign. Whatever he releases you can bet it will be nowhere near as much health information as Clinton has released.
Clinton’s problem is that wild conspiracy nonsense has now collided with reality. The Clinton campaign slowly revealed their candidate was diagnosed with pneumonia three days ago.
“I hope she gets better and gets back on the campaign trail soon,” said KellyAnne Conway. Conway also hit Clinton on her lack of transparency. On that point Conway may have something. In classic Clinton style, the facts are slow to arrive and the first info put out wasn’t quite what happened.
The latest info is the pneumonia diagnosis on Friday, September 9. On Sunday her campaign claimed she was “overheated” during a 9/11 memorial service in lower Manhattan and left the ceremony early for her daughter’s apartment. Then, after a video taken by a bystander went viral showing Clinton unable to walk and stand up straight while entering a van, out came the information on the pneumonia diagnosis. Who knows what info will come out next.
