Republican Senator Calls First Black POTUS “Drug Dealer In Chief”

Republican Senator Mark Kirk, who is set to lose his Senate seat to Rep. Tammy Duckworth (D-Ill.) as she is ahead in the polls, today referred to the first Black President of the United States in quite an “interesting” way.

Speaking on the $400 million payment from the U.S. government to Iran that occurred near the release American prisoners, Sen. Kirk told the State Journal-Register the payment was “ransom” and:

“We can’t have the president of the United States acting like the drug dealer in chief, giving clean packs of money to a … state sponsor of terror.

Recent polls show Duckworth ahead of Kirk from 3-7 points. Kirk is one of several Republican Senators who at risk of losing their Senate seats as Republican presidential nominee presides on the top of the ticket.
