AG Lynch Plans Statement After Ill Advised Meeting with President Clinton

The question of the investigation over Hillary Clinton’s e-mails has been looming over her campaign for over a year.  Though many political observers believe Clinton will be indicted on the matter of keeping a private server while she was Secretary of State, the matter still hangs over the 2016 campaign.

In an incredible addition to the palace intrigue, Attorney General Loretta Lynch had a private meeting with former President Bill Clinton this week. Lynch and former President Clinton met privately in Phoenix on June 27 after a chance meeting at an airport in Phoenix.  Lynch and Bill Clinton were aboard the same private plane.

Today in Aspen, Lynch is planning to make a statement on the matter of the meeting and how she will proceed legally.  The issue has caused many Democrats to become annoyed to say the least. Lynch reportedly will accept the “determinations and findings” of the FBI and career prosecutors who have been investigating Clinton’s use of a email server separate from the State Department system.

Lynch is expected to discuss her handling of the case at an event Friday morning in Aspen, Colorado.
