And just like he didn’t need Mitt Romney, Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, Jeb Bush or anyone else, he doesn’t need Paul Ryan. Ryan is the Speaker of the House whose entire life has been spent in Washington as a career politician. Trump’s campaign has represented the complete opposite of everything that is the Washington establishment Ryan has been a part of since January 1999. Ryan says he’s not ready yet to support Trump. That’s cute. So what?
The same arguments of blind partisanship against basic facts and established reason that Republicans have used routinely against Rep. How sweet it is to watch certain individuals look helpless as Trump rolls right over them.
Now Sarah Palin arrives today to announce that she Paul Ryan’s career is over and that she would support a primary challenger against him. “I think Paul Ryan is soon to be ‘Cantored,’ Palin said talking about the shocking loss of former House Majority Leader Eric Cantor. The only thing Palin forgets is no one pays attention to Palin. Just like no voter is stands in a voting booth voting one way or the other because the current Speaker of the House has an issue.
