Sarah Palin asks President Obama to stop playing “race card” on MLK day

6345411491_f96d512d08_b

Always one to insert herself into the political conversation, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin opined about President Obama via her Facebook page on Monday, the federal holiday to commemorate the birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr.

Palin wrote on her Facebook page:

“Happy MLK, Jr. Day!

“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.” – Martin Luther King, Jr.

Mr. President, in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. and all who commit to ending any racial divide, no more playing the race card.”

The ironic thing is that President Obama has explicitly tried to avoid the “race card” in his presidency by distancing himself from issues tied to people of color (incarceration, death penalty, being more proactive about stopping deportations, etc.). President Obama has even been criticized by members of the Congressional Black Caucus for not doing enough to help African American communities.

During his presidency, President Obama has faced tremendous obstruction in terms of dealing with his judicial nominees, the debt ceiling, and legislation to promote jobs. Many have wondered if the obstruction that Obama has dealt with while in office is because he is the first black president.

Essentially, Sarah Palin used the MLK holiday to make a potshot at the President. Asking the President to put aside his blackness for the next three years is pretty ridiculous. As much as Barack Obama tries to be the President for everyone in his rhetoric and with his policies administered by a largely white cabinet, it will never be enough for Palin and her fans.

  1. We would say to Palin learn what playing the RACE CARD IS THEN COMMENT, you are so use to SPEWING YOUR UGLY HATRED and RACISM FOR 4 YEARS. WE REALIZE YOU ARE CRAVING FOR ATTENTION, BUT GET YOUR FACES RIGHT. WE REMEMBER back in 2008 before you was tapped for VP, you hated the UNITED STATES and EVERYTHING IT STOOD FOR, THE REPUBLICANS PUSHED IT UNDER THE RUG, THINK YOU WAS GOING TO WIN, you just can’t handle THAT WE HAVE A SMART INTELLIGENT AND BLACK PRESIDENT, WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO OFFER THIS COUNTRY EXCEPT BEING STUPID AND UN-EDUCATED. YOU NOTHING MORE THEN A CON ARTIST. WHEN YOU ARE IGNORANCE THAT CAN BE CURED, WHEN YOU ARE STUPID THAT CAN’T BE CURED, OH YES GET OVER YOUR OBSESSION WITH PRESIDENT OBAMA.

Mottin Loofah King’s dream did come true. People do judge Blacks not by skin color but by their quality of content and for the most part it is filled with hatred, violence and immoral degeneracy. Ask anyone this question because you will prove it to yourselves. You’re driving at night and you find yourself in a Black neighborhood what do you do? The answer will always be either lock the doors or get the hell out as fast as I can. Blacks are a race of violent savages!
