CBS News 60 Minutes correspondent Lara Logan and her producer, Max McClellan, were both put on “forced leave” after an internal review was conducted of a report aired on CBS on October 27.  It was later learned that they main interview subject of the report, who said he witnessed the attack on the American Embassy in Benghazi, Libya, lied.

The report by Logan and McClellan relied heavily on a fabricated tale from a State Department security contractor who was promoting a book about the attack.  The book has been recalled.

As reported by the Hollywood Reporter, “CBS News chief Jeff Fager announced the news today in a staff memo, following an internal “journalistic review.” Logan apologized for the piece on the air three weeks ago.

  1. And this surprises whom?

Well, for one–it surprises me because in this era of championing socialist’s agenda… that someone was called on the carpet for doing the same thing all of the other news puppets do.

I sincerely hope that when she submitted her journalistic drivel… that she had a “Chris Mathews moment” that sent orgasmic shivers across her body–because she should go out with a bang… even if it is as manipulated as her story.

Unfortunately– she took one for the wrong team; the truth. It’s ironic that she works for the Communism Broadcasting Socialists network.
