Join PCIA – The Wireless Infrastructure Association on Capitol Hill July 23, 2013, for “Growing Rural America by Planting the Seeds of Wireless Broadband,” a half-day event that will underscore the benefits of wireless broadband for rural America and promote policies that enable efficient deployment of wireless networks throughout the country. Sen. Mark Pryor (D-Ark.), Chairman of the Senate Commerce, Science, & Transportation, Communications, Technology, and the Internet Subcommittee, and member of the Senate Small Business & Entrepreneurship Committee, will keynote the event.
Following Sen. Pryor’s remarks will be a panel discussion exploring the implications for wireless broadband deployment in rural America. PCIA President & CEO Jonathan Adelstein will moderate the panel, which will feature Michel Guité, President of VTel, Mark Lewellen, Manager of Spectrum Advocacy at John Deere,Kelli Merriweather, Executive Director of the Commission on State Emergency Communications (CSEC) and John Windhausen, Executive Director of the Schools, Health & Libraries Broadband Coalition (SHLB Coalition).
