What Makes This Person a Game Changer:  Mario Armstrong is a Digital Lifestyle Expert, Media Personality, and an Emmy Award Winning TV Host who educates and entertains his audiences with the various ways technology can enhance their professional and personal lives. He is the Digital and Technology Commentator for HLN, CNN, Fuse, and NBC’s TODAY show. He has also been a guest on Dr. Oz, Katie Couric, Steve Harvey, Rachel Ray, PBS and C-Span.  In addition, Armstrong is a quarterly columnist for Black Enterprise and is a technology contributor for NPR’s Morning Edition and Tell Me More programs. Prior to his current roles, Armstrong served as Baltimore, Maryland’s first Chief of Technology under then-Mayor Martin O’Malley. In addition to sharing his technology expertise across various media platforms, Armstrong co-founded the Urban Video Game Academy, a nonprofit organization aimed at increasing students’ interest and engagement in STEM fields through the use of video games.
