Queen Elizabeth Hospitalized

Queen Elizabeth II has been hospitalized at London’s King Edward VII Hospital today.  CNN is reporting she is experiences symptoms of gastroenteritis.

The palace announced that she was taken to the hospital “as a precautionary measure. ”  Gastroenteritis is also referred to as “stomach flu.”

The Queen, 86, celebrated a four-day Diamond Jubilee last year that marked her 60th anniversary as the highest reigning monarch in the United Kingdom.
