What Makes This Person a Game Changer:  Earl W. Stafford is an American entrepreneur and philanthropist. Mr. Stafford is well-known for “The People’s Inaugural Project,” which brought more than 400 disadvantaged and underserved individuals to Washington D.C. for a three-day, deluxe celebration of President Barack Obama’s first inauguration in 2009.  Mr. Stafford is the founder of The Stafford Foundation, which is a faith-based organization that collaborates with and invests in capacity-building efforts that equip the underserved through programs that provide health, education, training and faith-based mission support. With more than 35 years of leadership and executive experience, Stafford is also the founder and the chief executive officer of The Wentworth Group, LLC, a private equity firm headquartered in Reston, Va. The Wentworth Group provides investment, financial and business support services to the small business community offering services and products to the federal and commercial markets. He currently serves on the Boards of the National Symphony Orchestra, the Apollo Theater Foundation, the Venture Philanthropy Partners, the Wesley Theological Seminary, the Horatio Alger Association of Distinguished Americans and the President’s Board of Advisors on Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
