Allyson Felix Wins Gold in the Women’s 200 meters.  Track and field phenom Allyson Felix, 26, won a gold edal today in London in the 200 meters with at time of 21.88.  Felix beat out Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce of Jamaica who came in second.

The gold medal is Felix’s first individual gold medal.  She won gold as part of the USA’s 4×400 relay team in Beijing in 2008.  Felix also won a silver medal in the 200 meters at the Athens Games.  Her older brother Wes Felix is a sprinter as well.
