Part of this recognition is a derivative of Segura’s passion for corporate diversity and minority business development. Segura also is a founding architect and current vice chair of the nation’s first Hispanic senior-level IT executive organization the Hispanic IT Executive Council, as well as a member of the Information Technology Senior Management Forum and the Black Data Processing Association. He has served on many non-profit boards and has been named Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year for the Central Great Lakes region as well as Hispanic Business Magazine’s National Entrepreneur of the Year. In 2010, Segura was selected by President Obama as one of the 50 CEOs to participate in the White House Forum on Modernizing U.S. Government. Most recently Segura was appointed by President Obama to serve on the Advisory Committee for Trade Policy and Negotiations.
