What Makes The Person A Game Changer: Former Florida State University System Chancellor Dr. Mark B. Rosenberg is the president of Miami’s Florida International University. Prior to becoming chancellor and FIU’s president, Dr. Rosenberg worked at FIU, where he helped the university expand and develop into one of the nation’s premier research and teaching institutions after founding the its Latin American and Caribbean Center in 1979. He is often sought for his expertise on the Latin American region by governmental and media organizations, as well as international universities such as the Instituto Tecnologico de Monterrey, where he served as a visiting professor.
Dr. Rosenberg has also served as the University’s provost and Student Affairs Executive Vice President, where he led the efforts in establishing FIU’s law school and medical school in 2002 and 2006, respectively.
